Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
Arrive in Hanoi, Vietnam’s vibrant capital. Check in to your hotel and unwind after the flight. In the afternoon, explore Hanoi’s Old Quarter, known for its narrow streets, local markets, and cafes. Enjoy a traditional water puppet show in the evening, a unique Vietnamese art form. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour
Start the day with a visit to the historic Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, followed by the Ho Chi Minh Museum and the Presidential Palace. Next, explore the serene One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. After lunch, visit the Hoa Lo Prison Museum (also known as the “Hanoi Hilton”). Stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake and the Ngoc Son Temple. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Ha Long Bay Cruise
Depart from Hanoi for Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its emerald waters and towering limestone islands. Board a traditional junk boat and embark on an overnight cruise, exploring stunning caves, beaches, and fishing villages. Enjoy kayaking or swimming in the bay’s tranquil waters. Overnight on the boat.
Day 4: Ha Long Bay to Hoi An
Wake up to sunrise on Ha Long Bay and enjoy breakfast on board. Continue exploring more hidden corners of the bay before returning to the harbor. After disembarking, transfer to Hanoi Airport for a short flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, transfer to Hoi An, a charming ancient town, and check in to your hotel. Free time in the evening to explore Hoi An’s riverside and lantern-lit streets.
Day 5: Hoi An Ancient Town and Countryside Tour
Spend the morning exploring Hoi An’s iconic sites, including the Japanese Covered Bridge, ancient Chinese temples, and colonial shophouses. In the afternoon, head to the countryside for a traditional cooking class, which includes a market tour and lessons in preparing Vietnamese dishes. Return to your hotel or enjoy Hoi An’s nightlife along the Thu Bon River.
Day 6: My Son Sanctuary and Beach Time
Start the day with a visit to the My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage site with ancient Hindu temples dating back to the Champa Kingdom. After exploring, return to Hoi An and relax at An Bang Beach or Cua Dai Beach. Enjoy free time in the evening to explore Hoi An or shop for souvenirs.
Day 7: Departure from Da Nang
After breakfast, transfer to Da Nang International Airport for your return flight, marking the end of a memorable journey through Vietnam.
